Clinic policies
The small print, kept short
The policies that affect you as a client. The full clinic policies and procedures manual is available on request.
Consultations & consent
Every client has a consultation before treatment. It covers medical history, skin type and the areas being treated, and includes a patch test for new clients. Written consent is taken before any laser treatment, with time to ask questions first, and medical history is rechecked at every session.
Cancellations & missed appointments
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or move an appointment. Less notice than that may mean a cancellation fee, and missed appointments may require a deposit for future bookings. Genuine emergencies are always treated as such, so just get in touch.
Refunds
Results vary from person to person and can’t be guaranteed, so completed treatments are generally non-refundable. Anything prepaid and unused is assessed individually, and decisions are always put in writing.
Your information
Client records, including consultation forms, medical history, consent forms, treatment notes and patch test results, are stored securely, with access restricted to authorised staff. Information is never shared without written consent, in line with UK data protection law.
Photographs
Progress photographs may be taken to monitor treatment, only with written consent. They’re stored securely with client records and are never used for marketing without separate, explicit consent.
Complaints
If something isn’t right, get in touch. Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours, investigated properly, and answered in writing.
